I like Christmas Day. Love it. It's about family, giving (and more importantly, recieving) s**t to people you care about, and vice versa. Snow's ******** awesome, but it comes here in January/February. Which is even better; no school.
The tree's alright; a bit of a ******** to decorate properly.
But the rest of it? All the overdone lights in people's gardens, all the shitty songs that start in mid-November, all these shitheads smiling at me saying "Merry Christmas" when at any other time of year you'd be giving me the kind of scowl that'd make me fear for my life?
******** the lot of you.
Call me a misanthropic c**t, but I can't stand people prancing around with candy sticks jammed up their arses just because they feel obligated to appeal to the christmas spirit. Why the hell should we act differently to each other just because it's a bit colder these days? Why is it just this one time of the year we get to be nice to each other? Can't we just be nice to each other all the time?
The music really doesn't help either. Nothing drives me into my own world of distortion and angry lyrics more than outdated, forced-happy bullshit that gets overplayed faster than anything to do with technically dead glitter-people.
Don't pretend that you care about your fellow man any more than you usually do just because it's some dead guy's birthday, coinciding with the regular visit of an overworked obese man in a red jacket, because you're not fooling me and I'm pretty sick and tired of it.
Keep it to yourselves, ******** please.
