I just got back from getting my Illinois license transfered over to a Tennessee license. I've tried going before, but the place was packed with about 70 people and it was my day off. So I didn't want to spend all afternoon in a waiting room. I don't go to work today until 2:00. So I had time to do it early in the morning. I got up at 7:00 and went there at 8:00 only to find out it didn't open until 8:30. Well there was already about 12 people waiting by the door so I wanted with them until it opened.
At about 9:00 I finally got my number called and got everything taken care of. It cost 19.50 and I even got a cool 50 cent piece back for change. Getting the new license was easy. All I did was retake an eye exam and get a new picture taken.
After that was over I went with Julia's dad Ed to IHOP. We ate breakfast and he talked about college forever and then my car. Well I'm glad to be back now, browsing Gaia until I have to go to work. I just work until 9:00 today. I won't be alone the whole night so it shouldn't be that bad. I work 4-9 tommorow and then sunday I work 10-6:30. Though I get paid another dollar an hour on sundays, so it's good. Then I'm off for the next two days!
Oh in other news I got Howl's Moving Castle in the mail the other day. I bought the Japanese version, which had the english dubbed version on the disc as well. Same voice actors as what we'll get in another month when it's released on DVD here. The only difference with my disc is the DVD menu is in Japanese. The movies really great though I'm such a fan of Studio Ghibli Films. I can't say if this is my favorite one so far but it's pretty darn good.
I've also been debating on finally getting around to customizing my profile. Perhaps I'll do it monday or tuesday? eh, if I feel like it. rofl
