The holidays season as we all know comes around at the end of every year. By Halloween you can find the lights and decorations already lining the stores shelves and by the time the actual day comes around, the store seems to be lacking most of the Holiday items, as well as food and toys too.
However Christmas doesn’t feel like it’s coming this year. At least not for this Deathscythe. I’ll fake a smile when I go to the annual Shibusen Christmas party and during all the festivaties, but I already know I won’t be able to find the Holiday Spirit this year around. [….heh, no pun intended]

I know I have to pull through this though, at least for my son, Jordon. Just because I won’t be having the grandest Christmas doesn’t mean I need to be making his a bore too. I will try my best to give him the greatest Christmas he possibly can have… at least the best Christmas he can possibly can have without his Daddy here with him.

This Christmas will be awfully lonely without Jasu.
I suppose I could invite stein over, and have him bring Frankie so the kids can play and enjoy a nice Christmas eve. It sounds better than being alone, but at the same time it sounds intimidating. The idea of spending the evening alone with Stein waiting for the children to fall asleep so Santa can come sounds like a frightening few hours to live through… I know Stein has gotten better with the whole dissection thing… But I don’t want to take the risk.
Dissection on an already disappointing Christmas is the last thing I would want. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Professor already has made plans to spend the evening and next day with Marie anyway.

People have been asking me for a while now what I’ve wanted for Christmas, and I don’t honestly know. When you have no enthusiasm for the Holiday season it’s hard to get pumped up and find something you want. It almost sickens me to see everyone so happy… Do they not realize the cruelty in the world? They run their lives like the world is a care free place. …But I suppose they can have that sense of security knowing that Deathscythe’s like me are protecting them…. But who protects us?
No one.
If there was someone to protect Jasu. Maybe he would be here today beside me, instead of standing opposite of me. Staring back, now forced to be enemies, yet still holding a large spot in one anothers heart for the other. If there was someone to protect us, the Deathscythes… Maybe I could be happy and find the Holiday Spirit.
So before you ask again, I will tell you now. You can’t get me what I want for Christmas.
What I want for Christmas is to go back in time, and protect Jasu that day during the battle for BREW…
Because if no one will protect us. Then all we have to rely is each other.
