Chapter 8 : Aerolitha

Prologue:
Aerolitha is a Wind planet that is currently under attack, most of the people here are skilled warriors and it has its own elite army division known as the Midnight Breeze. Ryle will need all the help he can get… dealing with both Ozuraian and the Aerolithan armies in there own war for the Oracle of Wind. Kiro is about to learn the meaning of that strange dream he had.

As the portal to the Nexus opened Kiro stepped out and was in a dark canyon. "How long has it been since I was last here. . ." He said to himself as his communicator went off. "Kiro here, go ahead with your report." "This is Rei, You are currently in Gale Canyon, if you head towards the mouth of the canyon you’ll see the battlefield." Rei said. "Please be alert, I heard that the Midnight Breeze is there too." Rei added. "Roger that, heading towards the front lines." Kiro said as he ended the comm link. As he stepped out the wonderful peaceful planet turned into a complete war zone. "Hang on Ryle, I'm on the way." He muttered as he rushed into the battlefield. Making his way through Kiro suddenly got stopped by a sudden gust of wind.

"Been a while, Kiyazaki... Never expected you of all people to return here." Said the warrior as he emerged from the wind wearing a white haori and matching hakama with dark blue clouds on them, long ocean blue hair with pitch black eyes and a scar across his right cheek. "Ukyo Zouman. . ." Kiro said as he placed his hand on his katana. "It seems out of instinct your body remembers how dangerous I am. . ." Ukyo said drawing his Scimitar and lifted it above his head as the wind around them got absorbed into the sword. "Shall we finish what you've begun so long ago?" Ukyo said with a insane glint in his eyes.

As Ukyo rushed towards Kiro he unleashed the absorbed wind with a single swing and summoned a fierce tornado that torn up and land and headed towards Kiro. Out of instinct Kiro performed a Shadow Step and completely dodged the tornado and drew his katana as their blades clashed causing an upstart of winds to flow around them. "It's not like you to worry about others so much. . . You best focus or you'll end up dead!" Ukyo exclaimed as he broke through the clash and slashed rapidly inflicting damage upon Kiro with enough force to push him back. Ukyo's blade started to glow green as he went into stance holding the scimitar by his left waist with his right hand holding it. "Crazed Wave!!" Ukyo shouted as he slashed downwards creating a shock wave through the ground that rushed towards Kiro. Being able to manage a side roll, Kiro barely escaped the attack and got up as his forehead got nicked and started to bleed. "I don't have time for this. . ." Kiro thought as he rushed forward and created an illusion to stall some time.

Thanks to Kiro's plan he escaped Ukyo's attack. "I really hope I don't run into the rest of them. . ." Kiro pondered as he dashed as fast as he could. After a short while another burst of wind stopped him and forced him back slightly. "Just my luck. . . " Kiro said with a sigh as he prepared for the worst.
