Class poetry unit... we had to write an epitaph for ourselves or a pet... I had fun freaking out my teacher with this one! xd
You who walk among these stones
Feel the memories in these bones
Remember a girl whose name was Light
Laughter and Sunshine and all things bright.
But behind that merry quick brown eye
Velvet darkness within did lie
And the smothering blackness ended her will
Veiled were her eyes, and she lay still.
