Oh, that was a threat.
One of the things that Vanerin got riled up easily for were threats and the fact that it came from such a...delicate looking man, almost made her double-over with laughter. He was actually commanding her to come down from her perch on the table, which by the way she was becoming attached to, and then had the nerve to accompany it with a "...or shall I make you?" She had to bite her tongue to keep herself from cackling out loud.
Running a leather-gloved hand over her unruly head, she sighed inwardly and threw another glare at the man before casting a quick glance around to see if the fight had dispersed. Indeed, it had for a lot of eyes were drawn towards her and the stranger garbed somberly as if he was some sort of religious man. She noticed the Fae struggling, the unmoving Orc still standing next to it, and several bloody and bruised faces looking up at her. They were taunting, teasing her to just let one itsy-bitsy mana-charged blow rip through the air and see what will happen to the man who had just pushed out a chair towards her table.
She noticed his change in tone. He had shifted to something that Vanerin had most commonly heard during some what-not event that nobles flocked in and what's more, he had accused her of being one. Not that the accusation was false, but he had said it in such a way and manner that it felt demeaning. As if her status as one of the members of the higher tier of society was a bad thing. Add that to his sarcastically respectful manner and you'll get a whole brew of something that didn't quite bode well for the young soldier.
"How did he know?" flitted across her mind before she smirked lazily. A smile that slowly bloomed having been watered by vengeful annoyance and anger.
"What is it you, huh?" she parried his question with her own. "Is it your business to go about, prancing like some lily-livered dolt than suddenly appear out of nowhere to command a person to do as you bid? I think not!" and without warning, her temper had gotten the best of her and she snapped a swift kick towards the unfortunate chair which sent it hurtling at a high speed. The object was aimed towards Deacon Caelis.

Happiness in a Spark
Doc: Class, give me one indoor pollutant
that has the effect of acute poisoning primarily among children by
targeting their pulmonary system.
A Good Student: One of that would be carbon monoxide, sir.
Me: ...My fart? x.x
Ah, the joys of learning.
