Greetings, my name is: Beatrix GodfreyCan't you tell? I am a: Female of the Human race. It's been so long since I was born, to be precise it's: 23 hard years.I'm kinda like: For this section, I'm letting Beatrix, herself, do the description 'cause, well, she knows herself better than anybody else does. So, take it away Beatrix. c:
"First off, let's do away with the 'I'm kinda like' statement, shall we? Because, I am certainly the coldest, most ruthless b***h you'll ever come across in this life. I say dreadful things that most people won't be able to get away with and tend to make life a living hell if you provoke me to anger. I also am very stubborn and will never allow myself to lose in anything. So, don't you start to pick a fight with me since I won't hesitate to chop your pretty lil' head off. Understood? Good.
Moving on, you might not want to come near me since I do bite, but then, everybody has a 'positive' side to them. Kind of like the silver lining in a cloud or some sort of s**t that I read somewhere. For me, that would be my superior intelligence and ability to take responsibility for my actions. I would never back down from my mistakes and would willingly accept any punishment that is due. I also am a great leader despite my abrasive personality because I have the ability to make people follow my orders and assess where they would be able to grow and do their best. I also am, normally, very well-behaved. Things such as hospitality and respect for people were ingrained on me since childhood. With that, you can assume that I was trained to have very good manners, but blow my fuse and those good manners would soon turn into bad ones. "
To summarize, let's just say that she's an anti-social woman with a peppering of bad temper and a terrifying mind. She might be a good person deep inside, but you'll have to burrow in deep to unearth her. Watch it, it's deadly: Beatrix's sword might not be the most interesting thing lying around, but trust me, you don't want to be at the receiving end of it. The blade is made out of a pure-white substance derived from the moon through a Lunar Cry, an extensive process requiring several runes, a team of very skilled magi, as well as a series of preparations. A Lunar Cry can only be done once every ten years when the moon is in a certain position and several rare material facilitators have been collected so the substance is a very rare thing indeed. It seems to have no weight, yet possesses superior quality to almost all types of metals. It easily cuts through stone and has broken many weapons that have clashed with it. It also is a low-maintenance weapon since it never rusts and does not require sharpening to keep it in tip-top condition. To date, Beatrix is the only possessor of such a weapon thereby, allowing her to dub her sword as the Lunar Cry. The hilt's guard is a curious creation in that it possesses a dull-colored orb at the center that glows into a bright gold when hit by a source of light. It actually amplifies her attacks by storing her mana energy and releasing it in violent bursts of power capable of leveling the landscape in a moderate perimeter. She won't be able to pulverize mountains or towers with a single mana burst, but she can most certainly pulverize you if you stay within the vicinity.
She also has a pair of arm guards that are able to function as a shield. Both guards produce a set of rounded magical barriers that can be used to deflect moderate magical and physical attacks. This will be helpful: Her family's lineage plus her natural intelligence has given her access to knowledge that most warriors do not even know existed. She possess superior knowledge in the arcane arts, having garnered a three-year apprenticeship from the legendary Tetchines, four ancient wizards who have isolated themselves from civilization in order to refine and improve their magical arts. She was also their last student and thereby had inherited most of their knowledge and skills. Add that up to the extensive tomes and records that she had read plus her genetic and scientifically-modified affinity for magic and you'll get yourself a very powerful sorceress. The extent of her ability has not yet been fully known, but you can safely assume that she's one of the best in the history of Saalsburgh.
She was also enrolled in the best schools that Saalsburgh had to offer and had gotten various warriors to teach her their skills in exchange for gold. So, you can be sure that she's a very versatile fighter capable of adapting to any situation.
What makes her very deadly is the dark experiments that have been performed since her mother was still carrying her inside the womb. They had infused her with various liquids and blood taken from the monsters who attacked Saalsburgh as well as other elements gathered from other Ether worlds. The Godfrey clan had the means to send expedition teams or purchase rare materials. They all claimed that it was for "experimental" purposes and they were right, they were experimenting on their next clan heir, Beatrix. The scientific modifications have granted her abnormal speed, power, and regeneration as well as increasing her intelligence to the point where she baffles most of her instructors with the speed that she learns a particular subject or skill. Beneficial though the experiment was, it had one draw-back. The monster blood has naturally fused with her and gave her diabolic urges. She has to continually struggle for dominance lest the monster in her takes-over and dooms Saalsburgh once more. My own little fairytale: A perfect little girl born to a world of sunshine and butterflies, that is until the first day that she went berserk. She had flitted through life normally like most little girls of the gentry. She was designated to be the next heir to her clan and had been trained as such, yet life was still pretty good with the elegant tea parties and classes at Mademoiselle Renee's exclusive school for girls. Her first display of rage had occurred when she was ten. That was when she had gotten her first dose of Muu's legacy, a defiled version of the god's glory that had somehow still lingered in some portions of the various Ether Worlds. Her body had started to transform into a grotesque creature, but the Godfrey clan were able to stop her for all of them were also powerful wizards modified, though not as heavily as Beatrix, with monster blood. She was the first recipient for Muu's legacy and the clan was delighted to learn that it had granted their heir a demi-god's status.
After that incident, Beatrix had gotten withdrawn and cruel. She had abandoned society and chose to train herself in order to control what was growing inside of her. The clan, however, continued on with the experiments and was treated to another attack when the girl turned eighteen. This time, she was able to ravage most of the Godfrey estate and left the whole of Saalsburgh in shock. The last remaining members of the clan who had survived the attack rebuilt the estate back into its former glory, yet a blanket of darkness had pervaded in the place. It was now known as the Godfrey's Fall, a dark landscape filled with fierce creatures that had been released from their cages during Beatrix's transformation. The clan had also decided to renew their ways and stop all the experiments that they had conducted instead focusing on hunting down the monsters that roamed their estate and preventing them from escaping outside the walls of Godfrey's Fall. Still, life continued for her. The Tetchines had actually seeked her out as their last student, their real reason being that they wanted to teach her how to control her powers and over-come the monster. It was their parting wish before Beatrix, herself, entombed them on their final resting place somewhere on another Ether World. She came back to Saalsburgh at the age of twenty-three and had signed up for the heroes guild, at the urging of her clan. Thus, the story continues... A little extra: [leaving this blank for now.]That annoying voice in my head is called: Happy Sparky
