Good evening everyone, and welcome to the second installment of the "Jimmy Olsen Show" brought to you by The Daily Planet, your original news source for everything Superman. Today's guest has been saving lives since before most of us were born, the original emerald warrior and the first Gotham Knight: Alan Scott!!! Welcome to the show Alan, let me be the first to say how proud we are here at the JOS to have one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America on the show.

*alan waves to the audience for a short second then he looks back at Jimmy*well Jimmy im happy to be here and i would like to say congratulations on your new show

Thanks Mr. Scott, I'm pretty excited about it. Now, as we all know, you started out as the protector of Gotham City long before the mysterious Dark Knight vigilante known as Batman. Tell me, what was it like "back in the day?"

Gee, Mr. Scott, you're the pinnacle of modesty, but it says here in the Gotham Gazette that city crime rates during the golden age of superheroing hit record lows in the 1940's until you and your fellow Society members faced the "Joint Congressional Un-American Activities Committee," supervised by Senator Joe McCarthy in 1951, as you were accused of Communist activities for not revealing your secret identities, the JSA would disband for a short time. I gotta ask, what was going through your mind during the hearing?There were actually two thing going through my mind. One was "why are they doing this to us we left our families to protect them, we spent our best years so they wouldn't get robbed,murdered,kidnapped and now we're being called criminals what's up with that?"And the second thought was "It's not their fault" it was a very scary time back then.You know because of the second red scare and all it was all just a big witch hunt

That it was, but as time passed, the world found a need for the Society once more, which led to its reappearance in the public eye. Afterwards the world would meet other groups inspired by your example. The Justice League, Infinity Inc. made up by the sons and daughters of the JSA, and more. How does it feel to know that you and your generation have infused such an ideal into the spirits of so many?

Glad to hear it sir. Since the formation of the Justice League, the JSA, tho not disbanded, have spent their time concentrating on their own cities and cases. You yourself have had quite a few escapades including having been restored your youth, seeing your own children become heroes themselves, even marrying one of your arch nemesis the Harlequin. Currently you have taken on the responsibility of running the agency known as Checkmate as the White King. Tell me, what was your favorite adventure.

Wow, both of the Gotham Knights working side by side? I'd give my Jimmy Olsen fan club card to get shots of that epic adventure. It seems we're running out of time, but before we go, would you mind saying your oath for the audience?
