As Silver hovered over the city, he looked around slowly. The area where he lived was what was a city, but which was now a bleak, absent place full of flames, and darkness. As he glided slowly, he heard a noise coming from beneath him. His eyes grew wide, as a fiery column rose before him. Acting quickly, he used his psychic powers to make the column vanish. His path was now clear in front of him. He continues to stare off, but he did not move. He stayed where he had been stopped by the column of fire.
Silver blinked as a voice behind him called his name.
"Silver!"
Silver turned around quickly. It was the only true friend he had, Blaze. Blaze was a cat who could use pyrokenetic abilities. She hooped from one building to another quickly.
"Blaze! What's wrong?" he asked concerned. His friend looked very flushed.
"He's appeared again!"
Silver knew what that meant. Quickly without a thought, he dashed forward leaving his friend behind. Blaze followed by running as fast as she could, and hopping from building to building, making sure she didn't lose balance and fall victim to the flames below. They both moved at ferocious speeds to get to the cause of Blaze's panic. That cause was Iblis.
