Not doubting my senses, I was right. There was my brother Dante, sitting up top the
shingles in the roof giving me a friendly glare.
"Father said you've been looking for me." I chuckled at him.
"Yes, I have I want to discuss something with you brother come with me" My brother bumped me with his shoulder and hopped up on the wall climbing in his own barbaric fashion. "well what are you waiting for, eh?" "c'mon" He started walking ahead on the rooftops, I soon followed him up the wall grasping what I could. I eventually caught up with him he was standing on a roof garden overlooking San Marco he had that nostalgic gleam in his eyes. I stood next to him sharing the view.
"Ryuga..." he said crossing his arms.
"hmm, what is it?" I seemed rather surprised of Dante, he rarely showed interest in the things I did, He always claimed to be busy, myself knowing the truth behind his mature affairs which he called, busy I couldn't help but snicker under my breath.
"Answer me this brother" He seemed to be serious this time, "have you ever stopped to think about the big things in life?" I couldn't answer such a question, My life always revolved around marketing and the works of a merchant son It seemed odd why he brought it up.
"No, I haven't" I spoke in the most honest way I could. "But, I do know that there are bigger things out there for everyone even you and me..I'm just not too sure of what they are as all" I stared out at the Piazza in the center of San Marco, I could see the spilled blood of the recent executions the sight and thought of it made me gag. But then after a long pause my brother finally responded.
"I see" "do you believe in any causes?" I grew suspicious of this constant questioning.
"Causes are all about living other peoples dreams." I shared a somewhat loathsome glare with him. "I want to live my own..." He smiled at me and slapped the back of my shoulder.
"You are a relentless one aren't you" He snickered, "such a positive attitude though I must say for someone who sneaks in and out at night to god knows where"
"Chiudere su, I have no idea what your talking about Dante, but I could say the same about you" I made a face, he seemed to get cautious all of a sudden.
"molto buffo," he turned away, he seemed to be embarrassed by my comment, I could only smile in my feeling of triumph. He was able to get a hold of himself and catch a glyphs of the young moon rising over Venice, "we should head home Ryuga before father gets concerned"
"Bene, Id rather avoid a lecture"
"hmm, before we go how bout a little race." I stared at him anxious to here his request.
"alright your call" I snickered
"hmmm, how about, around up that tower down the streets up the walls of de casa to the top"
"alright then, I almost feel bad about this"
"ready, uno, due,...tre"
