As he took off in his usual show-off fashion I decided to play around with him for a bit. I knew I could out-run him I even seemed surprised, for he knew as well. I got a bit suspicious, but never the less I tailed behind him and ran by his side.
"hey pigrone, It's a race, that means you have to win" after I jumped off the edge I landed in a bundle of leaves unharmed, "heh, Lei ha preso scherzare me" I felt confident in this, I weaved my way through the crowed streets I think I even accidentally pushed someone over the edge of a bridge. even so I didn't dare look back I grasped the side of a wall on a building and scaled higher and higher reaching the rooftops I jumped from building to building, rooftop to rooftop. "Wonder where he is" I quite frankly couldn't care less. All that was on my mind was the finish line My heart rate sped up but I didn't even break a sweat and in my view in the distance was my home.
However I could see something, someone climbing the side of the building..It was Dante. I could only think angry thoughts for the moment but when it came to the point when we met up at the intersecting beams that connected to our home we gave it our all I was almost out of breath and Dante pushed his body harder and harder around the bend but before I could say victory, I lost my footing, I slipped on one of the shingles and slid to the edge.
Luckily, I was able to grasp the ledge with my firm but sweaty fingers. "Ok that's not fair bastardo" I gasped. However I was at his mercy, the race was over and for the first time in a while, Dante had won. I could only dangle there and watch him gloat.
"you got too over confident my brother" He laughed almost losing his balance to

"Alright.." He reached out for me and pulled me up "that was a good workout" he said lifting his forearm up to his face."It may be simple, but it is a good life we live brother"
"yes and may it never change us Dante" we slapped each other on the back and smiled at one another. Dante then climbed down to the courtyard and disappeared I was left there staring at the moonlight. "well I guess I should get some rest then" I spoke to myself. soon after I to climbed down to the second floor hall. I then spent the rest of my night in my room.
