Race
Race is what your character physically is, like if they are an elf, a vampire, a troll or a fairy. This is their race.
Class
Character class is your chosen vocation, the specific trade you follow; such as rouge, fighter or mage. These are the the main archetypes, but there are often many others to choose from in an RP game.
STR
STR stands for 'strength'. Your strength score determines how strong your character is and how much damage they can inflict. Your character may also need to be a certain strength to wear some types of heavy armour, or to complete certain tasks.
CON
CON stands for 'constitution'. Your constitution score determines how many hit points you have, and how well you deal with poisons and and wounds that have been inflicted on your character.
DEX
DEX stands for 'dexterity'. Your dexterity score determines how agile you are, how well you use weapons like bows, and use skills like pick lock and sneak. Characters like thieves and ninjas need a high DEX score.
CHA
CHA stands for 'charisma'. Your charisma score determines how likeable and friendly you are. It is also usefull if you want to persuade, haggle, coerce, or lie effectively.
INT
INT stands for 'intelligence'. Your intelligence score determines how well you learn, cast spells, and resist telepathic and psycological attacks.
WIS
WIS stands for 'wisdom'. Your wisdom score determines how wise and experianced your character is.
Abilities
STR, CON, DEX, CHA, INT and WIS are your character's abilities.
Ability modifiers
Ability modifiers are changes you make to your rolls that are determined by race and class.
