Rayne Onmi (Finished) Future Bonds (Will resume at a later date), and Dream World Mirau (Ongoing Updated Daily)
Dream World Mirau Day 23
Dream World Mirau by Josephina Mari
Day Twenty Three of NaNoWriMo

“I’m glad to hear everyone is doing well. I hope we can finish things quickly so we can go back soon. I’m sure Angela misses us. I was thinking about something ...how all of us go to Mirau in our sleep. Do you think it’s possible to bring others there somehow? Maybe if we had more people to fight with us we would stand a better chance at defeating the Akuen.” I said looking at Kyle then Ben hoping they had some idea how to make that possible. “There must be a way since I saw you in Mirau before I found you, and there were others with you. There were countless warriors standing behind you and then we all charged the Akuen fortress together. Ben’s group and Claria were there too and Angela as well. I know I saw the future, but right now I don’t understand how our present can turn into that. It doesn’t seem to connect.” Kyle said looking a bit agitated. My right hand brushed against my left wrist as I brought my arms closer to my body while I thought of what to do. “Wait I think I got it. This will bring the other warriors to Mirau for sure!” I said as I held my left wrist into the center of the table. Ben and Claria looked at me with confused expressions on their face while Kyle said “Pardon me? I think I missed something.” I paused for a moment while I tried to gather the right words to explain my plan in my head so I could say it out loud to my eagerly awaiting friends. “This bracelet was made by Claria in Mirau for Karou’s birthday right? Well when I came back to the real world the bracelet was still in my backpack and I still have it now even after several trips back and forth. I think these stones are a connection between this world and Mirau. We can explain Mirau’s situation to people we trust to help and then while we are in Mirau we can gather some of these stones and bring them back here to give to them so they can enter Mirau with us. Well what do you guys think?” I said looking around optimistically.

“It sounds like a good plan to me. Those stones are quite common in Mirau so they can be bought at just about any shop for only a few thousand cero for a handful. I don’t know if the color or shape matters much, but the colors I picked reminded me of my brother. The red one looks like his face when I tell him something embarrassing, the green one is the color of his tunic, the blue one is like the color of our eyes in Mirau, the purple one represents my brother’s courage since he has been fighting this war almost two years now, and the white stone represents the hope we have for a peaceful world.” Clare explained then she smiled at me and Kyle. I could tell she really loved her brother just as much as Ben who seemed torn whenever they hard to part even if only for a little while. I never knew this little bracelet represented so much. I stared at the white stone for a few minutes then I said “I think we should use the same colors Clare did. I’m sure the effect of the stones will still be active no matter what color they are. I’m going to ask a few of my friends about this after school. It will be hard to believe until they see it themselves, but I have an idea. I’m going to write down everything that has happened to me in Mirau so far and then ask if they will help me save it. If they believe me I will give them one of the stones tomorrow. Maybe you guys could ask people you know as well.” I said as I pulled out my spiral notebook from my backpack and a pen. “That sounds like a good idea Mari. It is worth a shot I think. I’ll talk to my friends at reservation and see if anyone there will help. My people believe that visions you see in your sleep have a significant meaning behind them, so maybe if I ask one of the elders about it they might be able to interrupt it for us and tell us what we should do. I’m going to head home early. I have a lot to think about. Clare could you tell the teachers I didn’t feel well so I left early? I’ll see you guys later.” Ben said then the kissed Clare’s forehead before he picked up his backpack then he walked out of the lunch room leaving Clare in silence and Kyle fuming from the ears.

Clare and Kyle began talking to each other from across the table. Clare was trying her best to clam Kyle down while I swore I head Kyle mutters something, I could only assume wasn’t nice, in Mirau’s native language. Clare answered him back with “...He’s not a bad person brother.” At that point I decided that whatever they were discussing didn’t really concern me so I did my best to tone them out as I brought my pent to the blank notebook page and then I started to write whatever came to mind. I tired my best to describe Mirau with as much details as possible, including the scenery, people, and most of all the evil that was slowly destroying that would. After I finished writing I looked over my pages of words and noticed it sounded like a log book of the days I spent in Mirau so far. I added a few more lines to the bottom of the third page that said “I have just told you about the world of Mirau, and very soon this world could disappear forever. I need your help to save it. I have a plan on how to defeat them, but the warriors we have now will not be enough to face the Akuen. We don't have much time, and the Akuen grow stronger with the passing of each moonlit night. Please join with us to save Mirau before it is too late. If you agree to help us I will provide you with a way into Mirau tomorrow. Mirau can be accessed through your dreams, but make no mistake it is real and I don’t want the people there to disappear.” After I finished writing those words I closed my spiral up and returned it and my pen into my backpack just as I heard the bell for class ring. “See you guys later.” I said waving to Clare and Kyle before the three of us parted ways to go to class.

Meanwhile Ben got into his black mustang then he started it up. He wasn’t one for fancy cars and all that. The main reason he got this car was because it was called a mustang and it was fast. His friends back at the reservation made fun of him for it by calling him the “Man Who Tamed The Metal Horse.” Ben tired his best not to let it bother him as he drove to the Southern Indian Reservation. Most people would be surprised to know that Ben’s tribe didn’t live in tents nor ride horses where ever they went. They also didn’t hunt food with bows and arrows like their ancestors. The Indian Reservation looked much like a normal city with stone buildings and paved roads. Most people either drove some kind of car or they walked to their destinations. The people of this city had become almost ninety percent self sufficient, since they discovered a water spring and build their town around it. They also grew their own food and raised various types of animals. What they couldn’t make themselves they traded with the near by towns for. Ben always thought that knowledge was something that couldn’t be obtained by staying in one place. You have to meet other people so that you can understand them. Ben pulled in to his driveway, he got out of his car, and then he was greeted by his two best friends Caleb and Theodore. “Hey man what are you doing back so soon? I thought you had class for three more hours.” Caleb said while Theo looked at Ben curiously to hear his explanation.

“Actually I came back to ask you help with something. You two already have access to Mirau’s world, but we need more people to go up against the Akuen. Kyle this that we won’t be enough as we are now and I believe him. Ask anyone you know that might be willing to help us fight and then let me know how many people want to come. I’ll bring you some stones tomorrow to give to those who want to help. The stones will allow them to access Mirau while they are asleep. The more people we can get the better. I have to make a few emails to send out now so I’ll see you guys later.” Ben said as he waved to his friends then he went inside his house. He went straight to his desktop computer and turned it on. Once it booted up he opened the internet email and began sending messages to everyone he knew that lived near by hoping to find more people that way. Ben spent nearly two hours corresponding to his friends via email trying to answer any questions they had as he explained what he knew about Mirau and the plan we had to save it. At the end of the two hours Ben had already found seven people who wanted to help in any way they could. It would be impossible to train so many people over night, but basic human instincts would take over during battle and that would be enough against the Akuen who relied on their magic for everything. Magic could not predict what human nature would cause people to do.
