Enough light to avoid my own Hell
I've hugged enough to know the feeling
Breathed enough to know the air
But one certain thing I do not know
Is why is life so very unfair?
I've worked my azz to just please you
Kissed the ground beneath your feet
Hoping karma would smile at me
Tell me it is finally pleased
I've feared enough to know to run
Ran enough to know to fight
Fought enough to know to give in
Gave in enough not to know plight.
I've met irony enough to know it well
Known you better than most
But still I am little more than light
Your shadow or your ghost.
