In the vast land of Griffin Wood, along the southeastern coastline lies a busy little port city. Tetera this city is called, the busiest port in all of Griffin Wood. Travelers from lands far and near come here seeking to trade their goods in the Tetera market place, or find willing bodies for a ships crew. Others travel here seeking knowledge in the art of combat and to develop or master skills in the way of the warrior at the Moonblade academy, ran by the seasoned head master Tobias Farhan. Some spiritual seekers often find their way to the small church on the northern edge of the city, where wisdom and spiritual guidance can be found among the many clerics and priests, the head of the church is the High Cleric Solomon Kendrik. Tetera also play host to one of the branches of the Order of the Leaf, an organization whose members are compiled of clerics and priest skilled in divine magic skills and battle skills used to fight the evils and mysterious creatures and dark priests the have aligned themselves with darkness and evil. Tetera's most famous attraction is the Golden Griffin Tavern.
The Golden Griffin Tavern is a small tavern where you can get a meal if your hungry and wash it down with a variety of wines ales, and mead, or if you need to rest above the Griffin is three rooms that can be rented for a night or two. The owner of the tavern is a balding, portly dwarf only known as Rock. The tavern's biggest attraction is a wall at the back of the place where notices, wanted posters, and job opportunities are posted.
This tavern and its wall have took many people to their fortune and their demise, some of the greatest and most tragic stories are due in no small part to the back wall of the Golden Griffin Tavern
