In the northwest corner of Griffin Wood lies the port of Parthos. This once quiet town has become a safe haven for the scoundrels and lowlifes of the world. Thieves, pirates, and cut throats, all sorts of bad elements frequent this port town. The law abiding citizens and merchants live in a constant fear, but have no other choice but to live here.
The Redeye Pub and Inn is always bustling from sun up all the way into the wee hours of the morning. Loud obnoxious drunks, frequent fights, gambling, disgusting acts and advances mad toward the local barmaids. The pub is a cesspool for the wicked and the unscrupulous acts that happen in this town.
Parthos is unofficial ran by a dashing, well to do gentleman named Eric Dunston. In the eyes of the decent folk of this town he is a pillar of the community, but in truth he is the leader of an underground group of thieves and mercenaries that hold this town in its tight grip of fear. Every single ship that passes through this port is another coin in the pocket of Eric Dunston, his minions impose fees upon the ships and their crews. The law in Parthos only acts when it is ordered by Eric. This chaotic port should only be visited with extreme caution.
