Cleaning and Frightened Rabbits
Home again. *sigh*
I miss Taiwan so much. No offense to the US, of course. I've always been more of a city-person than a sleepy-suburbs-person. When I get back, it's always strange. The weather is so cold, there are no people out, and it is so silent that my ears are almost buzzing. Pretty soon I should get to studying again, because classes are starting soon.

These past few days my family and I have been cleaning the whole house, scrubbing all of the countertops and floors. Today my sister and I cleaned out my rabbit's cage (I have a new camera, so maybe I can post a picture of her in the near future). We haven't unpacked our luggage yet because we want to unpack it to a clean house. When we packed the luggage, we had a lot of things. So much, in fact, that I thought the zippers were soon to be in danger of popping open and spilling everything in their luggage check. We unpackaged everything we bought and stuffed everything in a jumble-- socks, keychains, and beauty products stuffed into new shoes to save space. Facial oil blotting papers next to DVDs and cosmetic tools, all cushioned by clothing. You get the point. XD My sister had said that if even if we bought meat through the x-ray scan, the security people couldn't see it clearly through all of the random items jumbled together.

Back to the topic of cleaning my rabbit's cage. Rabbits really are the most easily scared animals on the planet. One Flemish Giant rabbit (biggest breed in the world) actually died of a heart attack as a result of the nervousness from standing in front of a large crowd. My rabbit's no exception; once she gets outside, she starts shivering. And in one minute flat, her muscles had gone so limp that she was like a fluffy rag doll in our arms. X3 And then we took her inside, of course. My sister and I were cleaning her cage on our front lawn with the hose. While we were cleaning it, a family of five walked back. And every single one of them turned their heads to stare openly. Once they were gone, I was all, "Phht! What's strange about this? Don't they have anything better to do?" ... Though technically, them being out walking implied that they did have something better to do. But... whatever! Nothing strange at all. That was what I said when this old man on a bicycle wheeled by, glimpsed us, and turned his head back 180 degrees to stare at us as well. PEDESTRIANS. D<
