Costumes and Deers
I give a shout out to all the young females in my family tree. Hang in there.

One of my aunts came over to visit. I don't know why, but all of my aunts seem to take some mysterious, immense pleasure in putting down the females in my family. Aunt Mary thinks that Aunt Sally is too snobbish. Aunt Sally thinks that somebody should tell Aunt Carol to wear more makeup. You know, those type of little "asides". In my family, my aunts gossip the most. And they are always, always talking about the women in my family tree. I remember just last summer, when they were insulting me again. It's unspeakable for me to stand up to them, since they are my aunts. And so, they say rude and degrading comments to my face. It's always about my breast size; can they not find something else to insult me for a change? But not all my relatives are like that. At least my uncles defended me. They kept on saying how pretty I looked. After a while, one of the aunts said grudgingly, "I guess she does have a pretty face. But she is still flat." Then she laughed.

I don't care, I don't even care anymore. A woman is more than that. Screw the person who first said that a woman's beauty is defined by long flowing hair and large breasts. There is no girl in the world who isn't cute in her own way. I can't think of any girl I think looks ugly. You'd be hard-pressed to find a woman anywhere who is completely homely.

Relatives. Bad relatives. Everyone has them. But my aunts are something spectacular; they managed to judge my niece, who is only a baby. They said that her cheeks were too fat, her eyes too close together, and nose "unseemly" or something. Have you ever seen a group of middle aged women, saying a baby looks ugly? Suddenly they turned almost.. comical. XD You know, that is exactly what happens when you insult people too much. Your insults start losing their punch. If you really feel an urge to act malicious, spread them out a little. Don't insult so much that it becomes regular for others to hear it.

And on a happier note:

Happy Halloween!

I passed out candy to a bunch of little children. They were so adorable! They were dressed in the cutest costumes--the parents of very young children always buy them store costumes--and they were so polite when receiving the candy. They all said thank you, and their little smiles were so cute. But none of them said "trick-or-treat" when I opened the door. They sort of just stood there, looking like a group of deer in headlights, until I passed them the candy. Weird. Then they said thank you, and left. Is the tradition dying out so quickly? XD Maybe it was just those children I saw.
