WELL.
This episode certainly had a turn of events- quite a confusing one, at that!
We'll start, of course, with Saya, whose actions thus far seem to have been explained. Now it's been made to seem as if Black Rock Shooter, now "Insane", was the antagonist all along- and according to Saya, a threat to the Otherworld itself. Saya, confirmed to be Black Gold Saw, found out about the Otherworld from her childhood friend.... Yuu!

So Yuu is obviously vital to the story, but many things are still unexplained about her- such as why she was both childhood friends with Mato and Saya(who is much older than her). Is this another version of Yuu? If so, what became of the old Yuu, whose life was terrible?
Saya wants to kill Black Rock Shooter to protect the Otherworld for her Yuu. I'm guessing killing Mato would also kill BRS, but thankfully she cannot bring herself to kill Mato.

Meanwhile, Dead Master, well, matches her name, therefore freeing Yomi of her pain and now Strength has finally entered battle. Which reminds me: as usual, the scenes set in the Otherworld were beautifully done as always.
Since BRS TV has had quite some critisism from fans of the OVA, I hope to review it myself at the series end. After all, while the OVA was very good, it left much unexplained; I hope by the beautifully made anime's season finale, most of the big mysteries will be brought to light!
(Let's just hope it doesn't have a sad ending)
