The Life And Times Of Your Basic Genderqueer Person! Is what my days should be called. Hehe.
Something as simple as webcamming can become stressful, especially if they've never seen me before.
Don't take it the wrong way. I love all my friends. And i am slowly losing my shyness. I am becoming more confident, it's true. Going on webcam is fun.
But at the end of the day, I'm just me. And i must remember all the elements that make "me" up.
My voice, my body, my personality, my traits, my emotions. My clothes. Oh jeez, clothes.
Do you know how difficult it is to go shopping for business apparel? *facepalm* "But Sevi, just wear what you want! Screw what the world thinks!" Yes...it's easy to say that.... But then you take a tentative step into that professional world, and you realize there is still order, still black and white. And it frighteningly matters.
So what do you do, when you are neither one nor the other? Balance.
It's tough, especially with clothes, but balance makes me happy. Being right in the middle....
You need to find an equilibrium. That's what it means to not belong to either gender.
