The second part of my White Knight Chronicles fan-fiction thing is basically just a lead in to the third part. By this point, I stray away from the original WKC story, and go into my own story about the origins of Kiera. In my opinion, this is when it actually gets good.
The Honshim tribe was one of the most feared groups in the world, and with good reason. Their warriors were fierce and strong, specializing in the use of spears and axes. It was said that each warrior was strong enough to beat 5 trolls alone. The tribe was lead by Shamans, who were powerful mages. The Honshim Shamans could turn water into magma with their intense magic.
Nobody really knows for sure where the Honshim tribe came from. All that is really known is that they appeared suddenly in the Lagnish Desert about 50 years ago. In order to keep his town safe from the Honshim invasion, Don Phibbianacci made a deal with the Honshim to send them large quantities of high quality food on a weekly basis, in exchange for the safety of Albana.
Though they were powerful, the Honshim tribe was also small. The tribe consisted of only around 20 people, all of whom had blue hair, red eyes, and dark skin. The tribe believed they were the offspring of the Gods, and desired more than anything to rule over all creatures.
One day, the elder Shaman announced a prophecy to his people. It was said that the strongest warrior would parent an Empress, who would lead their tribe to rule. And so, many warriors left the tribe to become stronger, in hopes of taking part in the creation of the Empress. In their journeys, word spread among other warriors of this prophecy, and even to the dragons.
Eventually, the strongest warrior came back to the tribe, and conceived a child with his mate. Sure enough, the Elder Shaman identified that this child was indeed the future Empress. The warrior was filled with joy at this news, but it was short-lived. Soon after the child was born, a powerful dragon showed up to stop the prophecy. With all the stronger warriors out of the tribe, the only ones who could fight his beast were the strongest warrior, and the unambitious.
The Shamans used all their power to cast a magic shield on the Empress, while the warriors attempted to fend off the Dragon. The dragon was far too strong, however, and the warriors could not destroy it. The Dragon used its immense destructive capabilities to annihilate the tribe, save for the shielded Empress, and flew off into the distance, believing its job to be done.
When Don Phibbianacci sent his henchmen to deliver the food, they were shocked to discover the tribe had been reduced to rubble. They found the Empress in her crib, unharmed by whatever had happened to this once great tribe. They adopted her, and she now lives completely unaware of her destiny.
