...Today was hell for me. This morning, when I got dressed and ready for skool, I totally forgot to put on my skirt belt --it's part of my skool's dress code-- since some little s**t named Naiha, my little sister, shoved my lunch in my face as if we were late when we were TEN MINUTES EARLY!! In all that haste I left that goddamned belt on the hanger and realized it was gone as my mom pulled away in the car after dropping me off at the bus.
At first I panicked, but then I cooled down cuz I realized the skool bookstore had belts I could just buy for real cheap. So I'm all chilled out on the bus ride, but then when I get off and star walking toward the bookstore I notice the "closed on Thursday" sign gonk I swear! If I had a knife, I would have killed myself right then and there! But I don't...
The day went on with me cowering in fear and sticking to the shadows of buildings and none of the teachers had notice. That is, until it was science, Mr. Mancosh's realm. He's been know for his whole teaching career for giving out lunch, activities, and Saturday duties, and I was the poor sucker trying to hide my bare belt loops with my shirt when I sit in the front row *dies*
The first thing he said as I sat there uncomfortably was, "(blah, blah, blah) and not wearing belts when you have belt loops!" He'd caught me red-handed, and right off the bat. Today was he day I got my first ever lunch duty THREE WHOLE ******** YEARS of clean records and now this.
The lunch duty itself wasn't so bad; it was the blow it took to my pride and self-esteem that made me almost break into tears like the little emo I am. I know it sounds so stupid but to me, that record of mine was something I was proud of. I understand I deserved it, no matter what the circumstances, but it still felt like a slap in the face and left me depressed for the rest of the day until swim practice where I blew off all the steam on the bike machine. It was enough to make me last 45 min at resistance level 15 (5lb per level) eek
