Now is the time for the long awaited... Umm... WRITING CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT!
The prizes will be awarded a while after this announcement. :3
First off, I'd like to say that this was a hard decision. An extremely hard decision. I had to go through several drinking bouts, a good deal of sleeping, and five tons of homework to get to here today.
The truth is a lot of the entries weren't so good at all, but a few of them were really outstanding and the extremely hard part was deciding 'Which one should recieve the 50k???
I was mainly looking for creativity. The most creative entries I put first on the list, and I promptly deleted the entries that included impolite begging and extreme disuse of grammar, much more extreme than the way I disuse grammar... sometimes.
Anyway, we decided the prizes:
1st place: 50k
2nd Place: 25k
3rd place: 10k
And there is also an honorable mention, which I will talk about now.
Kiashana: Honorable Mention heart
I've decided that for Kiashana's entry, although she didn't win a prize, Amber and I are both going to remember her and put her in our donation lists for the future. :'D
Her entry was convincing and descriptive enough for both of us to go... 'Aww, I wanna donate. xD'
3rd place: The Donator
Aww, this entry went in my head like one of those bedtime stories you hear as a kid. So it stuck in my mind and I liked it! It was cute, and well written. I also liked the way she formatted it, in neat little paragraphs. Her diction was simple so she didn't use big confusing words. I just thought, I could read this to a little kid and they would enjoy it... :'D...
So Teh 'Tehdi Behr' (She titled it!) Gets third place ^^

Darn, I shouldn't have waited five months for this should I? I hope Sera15 can contact me soon, because it doesn't look like she's on much lately. If she turns out to have left gaia I'll figure something out. Still, 2nd place is reserved for you, Sera15!
Your entry stood in the 'Possible Winner' Category for a long time, since I recieved it in my inbox really. It was passionately and dramatically written, which was funny because it was written about a gaia item. xD The 'Praise be' part got stuck in my head for a long time. It gave me this image of a girl actually kneeling in front of her computer screen, praying for a double-mooned cloak. It seriously would have been first place if not for...
eek 1st place: I am Fluffy hear me Roar eek
For a long time I didn't take this entry seriously at all, but I loved it! I read it over and over again, and laughed every time. I even thought of what it said and related it to my own life in the past five months.
It just kept popping back into my mind. The 'Caffeine Power', the rhyming, the humor, and oh yes, 'Fugging Loophole' xD. Although the verse used the word 'fugging' a little too much, as I sit here typing I realized that no matter how carefully you write, a human cannot do this perfectly. I still really liked this entry, and this conclusion is a last minute twist for me. I really wasn't expecting this kind of ending until today, May 2nd, 2006.
It just dawned on me that this entry was the one I loved most, even if it didn't have perfect grammar and even though it was really random!
So, I am Fluffy Hear me Roar, you get the 50k Prize!!! ^___^'

In other people's opinions the results might have turned out kind of different, but I am the judge this time, so I get to enforce the power of my opinion. And Amber's. But mostly mine. Mwhahaa.
