This blog entry has almost no purpose. I'm kind of energetic, and no one in Web Design is really doing anything productive. We're all sick of working on portfolios, and Mrs. Shugars is showing Tabatha and Amber those Photoshopped images of the animal splicing. I saw a few yesterday, it's basically cloned images, blended together creating these crazy cross-bred animals. I think I remember seeing like a Polar Bear/Tiger and a Penguin/Ferret.
Tabatha let me listen to her Panic! CD on her player, because I can't stand listening to it on the computer, the sound is too busted, and this is just not the kind of music you can have quietly. I guess that's why I'm so pepped up right now. Hmm..why I don't take a glance around the room and pinpoint stuff.
Ivan and Elizabeth are looking at movie trailers, no suprise there, Ivan's a movie buff, he's always on IMDB. I was right about Tabatha and Amber, they were looking at like a Daschund/Parrot. Michelle is watching some little animation, looks pretty funny. Michael's messing around with the template, but I couldn't really tell what he was drawing, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad one.
Jonas looks like he's on that Galactic Federation site again, Caesar, Aurora, and Francis are talking about Prom or something, I can't really tell, they're mixing their Spanglish too much.
Leah and Kisha are looking at stuff on the web too, but it looks professional, nothing's standing out, and I don't wanna walk up and check. Edgar's looking at a webpage, but he's got his window minimized and in the corner, sneaky.
Savannah and Fazil look like they're working, but I think Savannah's on a forum, I can't tell what it is from here, looks pretty plain for a message board. I can't see Vance's computer because of his spot in the classroom without looking directly behind him, so I'm going to take a guess and say he's looking at a car site. *checks* I was half right, he's looking at one, and the second window is a tutorial. He's learning how to build a proxy server. xd
I don't know where Isais is, I think he's working on something for Cinco de Mayo today with Ms. Buckner, lots of Mexican kids are dressed in like vaquero outfits. Everyone is wondering if we're going to have an assembly like last year, but it doesn't look like it, everyone said that Multicultural Festival one counted as that because people got mad that the Mexicans got an assembly and no one else did. Well, don't b***h, get off your a** and make one. I know this sounds racist, but at the assembly, the African American group did hip-hop dancing. But they were talking about Africa. Didn't make sense to me, sorry.
But no more mean talk, because I am happy right now! I got to read the 3rd volume of xxxHolic, Brendiona let me borrow it on the bus, so I had until the end of the day to finish it. I got done in Government, because Mr. Pauli droned on too much. It was so awesome!! They had this deal, with the Monkey's Paw, and I love that legend, and I even have a copy of the original story, it was written by this guy named W.W. Jacobs, and he was from London. I have this other story about it, but I think Sonja knows about it, so I'll make her tell you.
Ah, but it's such a cool series, I loves the CLAMP. I was so sad though, because for the life of me, I can never find #2. It feels like Pet Shop of Horrors, and that's almost eerily similar, because instead of experiences with animals, it's more involved with people and their attachments to objects or emotions. Too much of a coincidence, so I'll call it "Hitsuzen". 3nodding xd
I'm excited about J-Team today, I need to give Emi back her bracelet, I feel so bad about taking it from her, but it's cool, and people keep saying I'm trying to be like Kyo from Furuba. I remember when I had a Furuba addiction, I need to stick some series, I would jump back on NANA and ParaKiss, but I still can't find #5 of ParaKiss, and NANA doesn't have any new volumes coming for a while. Which reminds me, I need to find someone so I can catch up on xxxHolic and NANA. I need someone who can burn me series, I will pay you!! It sucks, why did so many good series have to come out this season in Japan?! I can't keep track of them all.
Hopefully tomorrow, I can make it to Toni's party, why does she have to live in the mountains like a little hermit?! xd But I kid, I need to go find a Slinky and a Rubix Cube for her, she said she couldn't decide, so she spouted that out, and she's getting it, I know where I could a Slinky, the Rubix Cube would be difficult, though. Maybe the Dollar Store.
Ah! That reminds me, I looked down at my desk, and saw my copy of Teen Ink. Some of you might know this magazine, you might see it in your school's library, it's a monthly magazine that showcases and premieres student's work from around the county, ranging from art, to writings and photography, think of it as a schoolwide DeviantArt. I love this magazine to pieces, there were some writings in here last month, I'm going to have to write them up and share them with you, of course I'll credit the author's. I was thinking of submitting work, but it might be too late. They have this huge collection of entries from different sections in these different boos, sort of "Chicken Soup"-ish, and their website has the books for sale, where you can get like a 25% discount. Someone get me that for my Gaiaversary. Nah, I'm joking, I'm gonna see if I can get them at like B&N or Border's first, then if I can't find them, I'll see if Josh can buy them online for me.
I haven't been to the bookstore in a while. I gotta save my money though, I need to make sure my fines are in order. I wish the library hadn't gotten cool when I became a senior, Tabatha needs to check out more manga for me to avenge all the manga I have lost or not seen in the past year I could have had. Why does this school have to have a limit on the books you can check out?! They should encourage multiple checkouts, it's not my fault the books are Reading Counts!, I'll bring them back at the end of the quarter when everyone always decides to take their tests at the last minute.
I'm so proud of this ramble, I really do work my best when I have no limitations. This has been full of virtually nothing constructive, and yet I feel I've done so much. 4laugh
What can I talk about now? I'm kind of dancing while I type this, nice dance music. I'm listening to, "There's A Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Figured It Out Yet". Long song title FOR TEH WIN! Elizabeth saw me, and kind of chuckled, then we did that Rush Hour head bop together for a while. The student teacher for Mrs. Sparks is leaving, it was her last day today, that really sucked, you could say, "I've grown accustomed to her face." But seriously, I'll miss her, I wish her well in her future teaching career, I hope she never stops that drive of hers to teach, we need more educators like that, especially at this time.
And now, I just ran back in the classroom after break, Tabatha gave me a dollar for chips! Yum, and I also spotted Josh and he scared me with his banshee cry. I told him about the awesomerific entry I'm doing right now, but he was dicking around with his cell phones. Everyone in Animation is like creating the Razr Club, with their big dumb cellphones, and they're swapping ringtones and have little tea parties. Ok, not so much tea parties, but the phone thing is getting ridiculous. SLAVES TO TECHNOLOGY!1!!eleven
I think I'm done with this, Ms. Shugars is getting close, and class is almost over. Ms. Lamont is bringing doughnuts to class, why I don't know, but when there's doughnuts afoot, you don't ask questions.
