What do you personally feel relevance really is, on Gaia? Is it a staff member acknowledging you? Users you've quoted responding to you? An idea you have used? The gist of it has always been acknowledgement, but to what degree?
I know it's silly, but reading this question, the first thing that came to mind was the Cheers theme song. Actually putting it into words is a bit more difficult. I guess it's other users remembering what you like, quoting you when they think something just happened that you'd be interested in. I know it's just pixel dolls and internet forums, but that familiarity seems nice.
Some of us shrug and move on - but what about you? Do you consider it a form of rejection? I really try not to! Maybe they are just like me, running off to do chores in between threads. Sometimes, I'm even relieved if I go ignored. Less of a chance of me killing a potential conversation that way.
This is just my potential reply to a thread I was reading. I feel unsatisfied with it, or maybe I'm afraid I'll actually get replied back to. Anyways.

This is where I'll be putting angst filled entries about my love life, summaries of my day/weeks, avatar art, and basically anything else that doesn't have a place in my signature or profile. Hope you enjoy reading. :P
