Yes. Because now that I'm not taking band next year, I wont be up to speed for tenth grade, meaning I wont be able to get into any of the other years of band! &=D Finally~
So. Technically band isn't done, but we just had out last concert, so I'm saying it. Ya.
Science is sucking. We had to make a lab ourselves to find the speed of S and P waves. Yesterday of course, which was the day that I was sick. Two people in a group. Soo... I didn't think I was gonna have a group. But then the two people who I was planning on working with anyway decided to talk the teacher into letting me work with them. So I go over, and one of the girls hands me a piece of paper and tells me to redo it. I'm like, "Wtf?" and she tries to just ignore me and write notes to the other girl while I do the whole thing myself. Which would have been the same as working alone, which I didn't want to do because I didn't really get how we were supposed to do it. So I complain to her, and they admit that they didn't pay attention (Which they haven't been since a month or so ago...) and that just pissed me off. It's like they're using me. I swear, I should just turn in the paper with only my name on it. Or the girl who didn't give me the paper, because at least she tried to help... Well anyway, I'm feeling used. And it sucks, because I didn't when I started working with them a while ago, they used to pay attention and stuff, but now they just.. Don't. And it's making me angry that I'm the only one who's doing anything. Oh well. One week. It'll be okay I guess... u_u Still...
So today we were talking in art, and somehow it got onto the subject of who I like. Which doesn't seem to come up very often. And we went through the, "Why don't you tell me anything?" "I tell you everything!" "Does anyone else know?" "Why can't I know?" etc. etc. etc. And it eventually came down to the facts that Sequoia knows who it is (if she hasn't forgotten), he's in two of my classes, he's in band (but only Jessica knows that), and something else... But anyway, I made them think that I was lying about two things (even though I wasn't) so I'm having fun watch them be confused.
And then Connor complained about how he tells me everything, and how I don't tell him anything. And I was all, "What was the last thing you told me?" and he thought about it for a minute and I don't think he said anything. So I said how he had had that internet/friend's softball team girlfriend and the Melissa thing and he hadn't told me about either of those things, and he said that he was talking about it with other people right around me, so I should have just figured it out. No no, that doesn't really count as telling me. Not by my standards anyway. Anyway, I'm probably going to tell Jessica after school tomorrow because it's her last day of school (she's going alone to South Africa for a month. =0) and she wont be seeing anyone all summer. So she'll probably forget who the person is while on vacation, and she says she'll get me a better souvenier than other people. Which should be nice...
Well now I have to make up almost an entire lab on minimal knowledge. And damnit, we're disecting squid next week! I missed all of disecting frogs last week except for the day that I think we were taking out the heart... I was excused from that project. x_x No such luck this year I'm supposing though...
Oh, and speaking of sea food, I had to eat dried fish and seaweed at the dance company sleep over last... Saturday. We have a survivor party every year (this is my second time going) and one of the challenges is always the food challenge. Where we eat ugly disguisting looking foods that might not be so bad... Dried mangos, jelly, sardines... Well, I got to eat dried fish and seaweed. n_n It was very spicy. And when I say dried, you'd probably think crunchy, right? Wrong. It was all rubbery. &.& And did I mention spicy...? Ugh, it smelled too... Oh well, it wasn't as bad as the last one. Sardines in tomatoe juice... My team won that one though! =D
Sadly, I got voted off the team. I think I know why too. Cause I said, "Gee, we're sucking." on the third time that we didn't get the idol thing that means you don't have to lose a team member. Ya, so I got booted right off after that. =? Pssh, I did nothing wrong besides that... Oh well, I got to go hang out in front of the house for an hour in the cold alone with two other people without anyone ever caring enough to come out looking for us. It was nice.
Ya. So. If I haven't said it yet, the red books I was talking about earlier are getting turned in this week. u.u Tomorrow actually. And now we have tests in band tomorrow, followed by... Nothing, I guess. Because of the concert earlier tonight. And... In english, instead of doing a paragraph about Goodnight Mr Tom's theme, we'll be doing poetry. Which I don't think I'm going to be very good at, because I don't get how Jen's poems work. >.< Oh well, it'll probably be easier because she'll be all, "Rhyme here, and put this many beats here, yada yada yada"
And now I've got a headache. Sleep for me~
