Last night was pretty sad. It was a few of the girl's last year at the studio. One of the girls, Kelly Karlovich or something like that, has been on the dance team since... I dunno when. She's probably been on since a few years after she started. I remember that the very first year that I started dancing she was a teachers assistant in my class. And this year, I made it all the way up to her tap class... It's really sad. =( And now... She's going off to college, so... I wont see her anymore. It's just... Sad. I think she's been doing the end of the year parties for the longest time too, so now the team'll have to find someone else to do that... So last night, people were crying and stuff about how it was her last performance here. And at the last competition, they were crying about how it was her last competition with us... Another reason why it was sad last night was because one of the girls got sick from something and she didn't go on for most of her dances. I think it was stress from all of the quick costume changes, that's what I got from hearing people talk around me. It was really weird when it happened at first, because it was right before the finale of the third show. And she usually runs backstage to stage left with another girl to put on her tap shoes for the tap section that I'm in. The one girl came in, but the girl who got sick didn't. And at that point I had no idea what was going on, so I just kinda stared at the door, waiting for her to come... But she didn't end up coming. So it went on without her. Shrug I feel sorry for her since she didn't get to do a lot of the cool dances... Now.. I'm feeling happy that I'm going to be able to have time away from people. Only a few weeks though.
