I now work in a daycare, a job I don't care too much for, mainly for the fact that there are two kids who have serious mental conditions: Brady and Caleb.
Brady:
A kid who can't really talk as well as the others can, his words come out more as 'ughs' and he has these weird bumps on his right index finger from where he bites his finger. He has a problem with paying attention and likes to hit people. Now for Caleb mad :
Me: eek gonk :eyetwitch: :random face contortions: But, I didn't scream (he on the other hand was giggling mad scream ), I simply pulled it out and threw it away, washed off the blood and told him he'd have to do better. THEN! I took him back in the playroom and I slapped him. It's horrible I know, but his mom gave us permission to give corporal punishment. twisted
It's not like I abused him sweatdrop , other times we yell at him, and all of us (Sam, Lindsay and I) have big thumbnails that we dig in and blame on other kids. Not me so much as Lindsay.
What's weird is, his sister is so calm and sweet. She never hits anyone, she always shares, and is so sweet. 4laugh
The good thing about today was that after dinner we only had about five kids and I got to take two girls into the playroom and they played dolls while I drew Gaia avatars. rofl The owner and her daughter had to deal with Caleb and the other boys. Yay me. heart
I also didn't have to change any diapers today! surprised heart heart 3nodding
