A Strange Store on Halloween
A rumor had been spreading around before Halloween started of a shop that opens only two days before Halloween. The bustle being that they have high quality made items, and even host parties for people who pay in advance. Be it with cash, a specialty item the store doesn't have, beat them in a game of wits, or a very enticing offer to interest the twin store owners. The two were named Simon and Mason. Two adults that looked to their late twenties, pale skinned and short jet black hair, with deep green eyes, save for the fact one had a deep brown, and the other's eye was a honey gold. They both wore outfits that were opposing colors of black and white, wearing dress pants, silver, or gold chains to their clocks, and dress shirts.
It set people off by their quirky and curious personalities, but always had people with a satisfied night of purchases and parties, and promises to come back the next year.
The building was made of solid smooth stone, two ivory pillars in the front, laced with well made spider webs and mist billowing along the edges, the double doors in front, and a black sign with a pulsing glow of deep red and purple saying Open. The floors were a polished oak, and tall shelves of items stood high. Holding heads of well made wax props like heads, or detailed masks that could hide under the collar. Small or large prop weapons that looked like knives that you could trickle a bit of fake blood in the channel and make it look like it was freshly coated. Well decorated dresses and items about, as well as items that could be age old books. Small cases held time made items, a monkeys paw, a shrunken head, old relics, and multiple cases of it. Farther back held plenty of tomes, books, and small vials for people who wanted to play off like a witch or an alchemist.
At the far back of the store, there was a large opening of an Elevator that would lead to the basement, where it was the real treasure for anyone there. The life of the party on Halloween.
