I also have to ask anyone reading this not to spread it around too much. You may not copy this guide for yourself.
How to Fly around Towns
[This guide is for use on Mozilla FireFox. It may also work this way on IE, however suposedly, not as well. Other browsers may work but in different ways.]
Open the Towns window.
You have to be quick about this, before it loads anything the screen will be white, right click before anything comes up.
This right click menu should look like [this], 'Play' should be unchecked, if it's not close the window and try again.
Now keep this right click menu open.
It will proceed to load Towns, wait until it's at least halfway loaded and click on Play. [approximate guide] If it's fully loaded before you click play it wont work and if it's not loaded enough it may or may not work.
Towns will load as a black screen, it will have the north and west arrows and the other two arrows in the center [screenshot], click and the two center arrows will dissappear. Now wait until everything is loaded, you'll find yourself in 001000 rather than at the trainstation. Make sure you wait until the avatars have loaded before you change maps, or they'll never load. Once it's all loaded you're done, you can walk over anything wherever you go in this Towns window.
The timing of clicking 'Play' can be a litle tricky to get right, it may take you several tries before it works, but once you do get it right you should find it fairly easy to do the second time.
Getting the timing slightly wrong can cause a number of other glitches including being stuck in the trainstation or having superspeed, however they all result in you being on your own with no interaction with other users. If anything like this happens simply close and try again.
Please do not PM me asking for help, all I can tell you is to try again.
UPDATE: It appears that it can now take you to the Trainstation as well as 001000 and still work. This didn't happene before so something's changed. Basically if you end up in the trainstation after the arrows you're ok.
UPDATE: The loading screens have completely changed, and now this is quite a bit harder.
Now you have to right click on the screen with all the bubbles, but don't click a thing. When the next, old loading screen comes up quickly click 'Settings', and VERY quickly right click and press 'Play' like you used to.
Towns now loads faster, and there's more you need to do. SO GOOD LUCK!
How to Leave the Gaiatrix
[This guide works equally well on FireFox and IE. I am not sure about other browsers.]
This is very simple.
Just copy the following url into your address bar;
http://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/towns/013/towns.swf
With this open just repeat the 'Flying' proccess.
You will find that you can adjust the window size, stretch it any way until you have blank space on either side of the Towns window.
Without the boundaries from the flying manipulations you should be able to leave Towns and enter this blank space.
This is however, pretty pointless. XD
Elemental Turtles[This guide is merely a list of compatible item poses.]
Everyone knows that some items give you added effects while walking in Gaia Towns.
Well some of these items can be used with the Turtle Shell to make Elemental Turtles.
Unfortunately since the latest Avatar system update these combinations are no longer possible, sorry guys.

Mischeif in Towns
Ok so there's about 20 people in VO's house, I'm there walking all over the walls and a few people are asking how.
One guy says "If you want 10k press alt+F4!", people respond with "Ha! We're not that stupid!" etc.
So almost immediately after, I say "If you want to fly press ctrl+W!"
... and half the people in the room dissapear! rofl
Not that stupid my a**.

So people are doing just what I did above, and it's not working, people are getting smart and the joke is getting old.
So I go on my mule, Haskeer and I do the flying manipulation and I walk into VO's house.
I pretend that I can't get onto the wall and I ask how.
A couple of people tell me I have to press Alt+F4, so I pretend I press it and then I walk onto the wall.
Needless to say everyone is the room is shocked.
... and a couple of people dissapear! XD
