well. reviving this will be fun won't it?

so late night blurby thing.

As thick as blood
as thin as water
as hard as steel
as soft as snow
show me the bonds we break and sow
reveal to me the sight of one's dreams
or define to me the said 'open mind'
invent a way to stop the changes
or be thrust away by living in the past
show me the sirens and light bulbs
that are said to go off
give me the cure for something unknown
or let me die by the fate of seeds long sown

or.............................

you say i don't care
tell me dont lie
would you rather me dead by your side?
times bring change
hurt and pain
but its all to grow up again
say what you will
about who i've 'become'
but don't dare say
it couldn't happen to anyone
im sorry to tell you
that you've been
misinformed
but that fact still stands that you're one
you're just like me
not in every single way
but you've changed too;
not just what you say
but how you think
how you act
don't dare say that i'm the only one

maybe we all moved too fast
maybe it was all too good to last
but time flies by when your having fun
and time never stops for anyone
you believe i don't care
wouldn't take a minute for a soul
but its all you think, or believe you know
i've turned into a monster
evil in your eyes
green with envy
red with rage
all i am to you is another page
another arrow in a broken heart
another stab in a healing soul
but what you take as arrogance and hate
is merely a new take
a play on things that were old
a new belief on things that are told
though i'm not what you wanted
or expected in the least
i'm still who i am
you know its true
to be who you are
even with people untrue
yet here you say
it cannot possibly be
that i am me
