I walked along the riverbed
Next to the crying wood
Cold, dark, alone
The gentle rain kissed my head
Softly, Mother Moon caressed
Dear child, you are forever
Mine, do not worry
I will forever keep you
Warm, safe, befriended
In my arms I hold you
My children, the stars,
You will be one
When time fades
When I fade
When the mountains
And the seas fade
I will never leave
But then she faded
With the colors of
Dawn
I stand alone
Left waiting
Until time fades
All the days
Of my
Life
The flowers do not
Comfort me
Nor the bird’s
Sweet song
The Sun, my enemy,
Hides behind clouds
Peering and silently
Mocking me
How I long for someone’s
Arms around me
The willow’s gentle touch
But now I am only
Hot, tired, confused
Until the day...
When time fades
When I fade
When the mountains
And the seas fade
‘Till Mother Moon
And Father Sun
Fade into an endless
Eternity
When I will be
A star
