Why are we afraid? What makes us so scared of that old victorian , so called 'haunted', house? The empty graveyard filled with rotting corpses, or as some people like to think, undead souls... Your elderly neighbor that you never see come out of his house, except at night... Or even a black cat. We are afraid of these things because we are uncertin. The Human mind likes to know and understand everything. It NEEDS an explination to believe what it is seeing. Movies and stories create a reasonable doubt in our brains that cause us to loose our hold on reality. So every time we pass the house or graveyward, see our old neighbor outside at night or come across a black cat, our minds tell us only what it knows. What it has seen in movies or heard in stories. But the one kind of fear I don't understand is the fear of rejection. Why is it, that when we love someone, we can not seem to gather enough courage to tell them? Why can't we just go up and ask that special person out on a date? Rejection's not so bad. I mean it hurts, but there are always more fish in the sea. Even when your a teenager, your not going to find your soul mate at 16. That should be the last thing on our minds. But it's not. For some reason, love is our first priority. Don't get me wrong though, I'm scared shitless to say anything to anyone about my feelings! I don't want my heart to get broken... I know it's not the end of the world if I get rejected but for some reason... I'm too Affriad...

but thats just a theory of mine, might be wrong, might be right. oh well...
