Dear Diary,
'Ello, mates! My name is Lily-Rose, but my pirate name is Red Caped Lily. I am a aboard the Black Pearl. Captain Jack Sparrow is my father, believe it or not, mates. Angelina Waters, my mother, had me after she broke up with my father. She took care of me for a while until she drowned at sea. She told me, on her death bed, that my father was Captain Jack Sparrow and that he was around the seas on the ship named The Black Pearl. I have heard numerous stories of The Black Pearl and the captain, Jack Sparrow. Some say my father is one of the best pirates alive! Even better than Davy Jones himself! When I heard this, I made it my responsiblty to find him. I searched for months and my board sank and I was unconsious when they found me, just floating into the water. I woke up, seeing the most beautiful man ever! I found out later, his name was William Turner, but liked to be called Will. But anyway, the next person I saw was my father, Captain Jack Sparrow. He was tall and brave as I laid down on the wood of the ship, as I recall. But he was manly and he looked twice as better as the person in the mysterious stories I heard. I was excited when I saw him, but he took my breath away. I was staring at my father for the first ime in my life! He helped me up and asked me if I remembered what happened. I told him my story about Angelina and he was dumfounded. Absolutely dumfounded. I think everyone was. Captain Jack Sparrow...having a daughter? A young one, not old enough to fight for herself, is what they were probably thinking about. I have just turned 12 when my mother died. But I am rather a little small for my age, I suppose.Also, no one heard of Jack speaking about any girl named Angelina Waters before. Anyway, Jack just looked at me and our hair was a lot the same. He just looked around me and he said he saw a whole lot of my mother in my eyes. I smiled and Will asked for my name. I told him it was Lily-Rose. Quickly, at that moment, I needed to come up with a great pirate name. I thought of all the pirate stories I heard and blurted out " But people call me Red Caped Lily!" My father eyed my wet, but silk red cape I had around me. " That's Angelina's!" he pointed out, softly, I remember. He was remembering mymother, I knew. His eyes filled dark with sorrow. Then, he looked at me. " Your mother wore that whenever she was frightened. It's hers...did you take it from her?" he asked me, a little meanly that I was wearing the cape. " She gave it to me. Before she died, that is. She said that you would bring this up if I found you and if I was wearing the cape." I responded. I remember his look. It was the look of happiness and i could see all the memories he had of my mother were flooding back to him. Then, he snapped back into himself, the serious and strong figure. He just stared at me, without smiling. I would not blame him, I guess. It was the same for both of us. " Here, you must be cold. Will, take...Red Caped Lily underboard and help her settle her things. Elizabeth, you and i must talk!" Will gave a questioning look toward the last part of Jack's sentence, but since he was the captain, I suppose, you couldn't talk back. Will took my arm and guided underboard. It is where I am writng now, actually. Well, anyway, he sat me down on one of many beds they had. It was actually made! It was right there and then that I fell in love with Will. He didn't speak at all to me. He was too shocked, I think. So, I spoke first. " Is it bad that I came here?" I remember asking, softly. Will looked up at me and smiled, weakly. " Of course not. I am sorry for your mother's loss. I know how it feels." Will told me. " Oh...I am sorry." I told him back. Will looked at me again and smiled. He looked at me for a while and gave me this curous look. " Lily-Rose...I know this is extremely personal and if you do not wish to tell me you don't have to, but...I never heard your father talk of any Angelina Waters before. Who was she?" he asked me. It was like he was reading my very thoughts. " To be completely and utterly honest, Will, I don't know how they met or anything. All I know is Jack left my mother before she even knew about me. She didn't tell me why or how or anything. I was hoping Jack could answer those questions for me. I heard in stories, though, he was so, very tricky. I wonder if it will be hard for him...he seemed a little flustered out there when he was remembering my mother." I said to Will. Will nodded. " Well, he's scared, proabably. Probably because .. well...there are bad pirates ut there, Lily-Rose. Some of them really hate your father and...for reverage they could capture you, but I don't want to frighten you." said Will. " I will protect you and so will Jack." he added, smiling warmly at me. That smile, I will cherish for the rest of my life. Those words, I will remember and also cherish for the rest of my life. I knew I loved Will more than anything at that moment. Suddenly, Mr.Gibbs, I found out to be, came down the stairs of the lower deck. " Captain Jack wishes to speak with you." he said and Will took my hand and we left for upstairs. The whole crew was gathered around. He turned to me. " Lily-Rose, I would like to show you your name mother." he said and pointed to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a very pretty, young girl. She looked like the perfect mother for me! Will looked at Jack and pulled him aside.I heard everything, without them knowing. " Jack! You cannot let Elizabeth take care of Lily-Rose! Do you know how...weird that is?! Elizabeth and I are married and if she took care of Lily-Rose, then that would mean..shes like my daughter! shes yours!" aruged Will. As soon as I heard that, my feelings for Elizabeth turn to absolute hatrade! " Yes, I know, but Elizabeth...she's a good mother! This way, I don't need to worry or do anything with Lily-Rose!" said jack. I was blown away. My own father didn't want me?! What was soo terrible or dreadful about me?! I heard Will say, " Jack, she isn't a bottle of rum that you toss away! She's your daughter! I talked to her, and she is a very kind person! She doesn't know how you and Angelina met or anything! How did you meet her?" asked Will, raving on. Jack looked at him. " Look, I'll explain everything tonight when everyone goes to bed! For now, live with it!" he said and walked back for people to see him and will let out a groan and followed behind. I was hurt. But I didn't want to upset anyone or show it. so I just went along with everything. I ended here, crying on my pages of the diary I found in the old book shelf by my bed. It was empty and I decided I could write on the little nightstand on my bed, if i wanted to and thats what i am doing now. Mates, if only you could know what I am going through. Just spending one day with my father, I want to get to know him and know about how him and my mother met and fell in love and what happened between their love and why it didn't work. That's why, I am going to listen in on the conversation between Will and Jack! I looked around now, seeing everyone sleeping. It was dark, but a single canlde was lit on my table and I was using it for light. Then, i heard footsteps going up the stairs. I knew, by the tiny light I had, it was Will. I put my cape on and followed him, wanting to know what the secret of my parents' life was....
