The Visionary of Homicide
A story of a nightmare that left the dreaming while his master had gone missing for many years. He decided to leave the dreaming, these are stories of his affect upon the human race.
“You know what your doing right? You know what he’ll do if he finds out?” The raven cocked his head to the man standing outside the cave. He stood on a cliff overlooking the fields of dreaming. The man turned his snow-white hair whipping in the strong winds. He looked at the raven through dark shades, which hid his eyes. He smiled at the Raven, “I know this Matthew, and he will not be back.” His smile faded and he looked away again, “It has been many years, he is either dead or has abandoned us.” The raven hung his head shattered by the comment. “Th…That’s not true, he could come back…”
The man laughed and walked down the mountainside toward the long dark fields of dream. His stride was confident, he looked as though he would never shed a tear for death. But then again, that was he. He was a monster among men. He knew no feelings of remorse or pain he caused these feelings. As he gained distance between the raven and himself the raven flew to catch up. He cawed as a tall odd-looking man appeared in front of them looking down on the snow haired man. The tall man looked down at him, “you are… The Corinthian, yes?” He looked up at the tall man with a sneer. “Stop mocking me Lucien, you know who I am…” Lucien laughed and straitened himself again. “Yes, I suppose I do… I also am here to stop you.”
The Corinthian smiled as if mocking Lucien, and Lucien narrowed his eyes, “you can’s stop me Lucien… You know this?” Lucien turned to the fading castle off in the distance. The castle was a reminder he would be back. He had to come back. A tear rolled down Lucien cheek, “you will leave your home? You will abandon king and country?” He sniffled removing a handkerchief from his pocket wiping underneath his large thin glasses.
The Corinthian looked to the castle as well as a shiver rolled down his spine, it was unsettling. The castle made him regret leaving, but he had to. He would not wait any longer for his king. “I am sorry Lucien I must leave, there is noting left for me here.” He walked past Lucien as the raven landed on the Corinthian’s shoulder, “you will come with me Matthew?” He looked at the raven as Lucien held out a hand as if trying to make them stop. Matthew cawed, “I’m just coming to keep tabs on you… I’m not doing it to betray him.” Lucien faded into the darkness of dream knowing there was nothing he could do to stop them. Lucien was the librarian; he would stay and take care of the dreaming. No one could convince him there was something more for him beyond the dreaming. Matthew and the Corinthian acted as though Lucien had never spoken as they proceeded down the mountain to the stonewall separating somewhere from nowhere.
The Corinthian stopped and sat on the wall between worlds. “This is it Matthew, are you sure you wish to come with me?” The raven looked off into the long nothing with his black marble like eyes. “That place scares the s**t out of me, but yah I’m ready.” The Corinthian let a wide grin run across his face as he removed his glasses revealing two more sets of grinning teeth. He spoke with three voices as one, “then this is it… We shall enter the mortal plane, and wreck havoc upon it…” He laughed loudly. I Matthew ruffled his feathers disturbed by his laugh. He thought in his mind, what have I gotten myself into? The Corinthian replaced the shaded thin glasses on his face as they walked into the distant nothingness. Another watched them go regretting himself, Lucien looked on as they disappeared in the mists of nowhere.

It is always bad to ask me to read stories such as these because I have the compulsive urge to edit. It is a rather annoying response because who am I to want to do that?

...I'm not sure if I understand the context, but it will probably make sense eventually. When I really think about it.
