OMG!! i had a Soma Cruz dream last night. nooo, i wasnt Soma, but i was playing as Soma...
in the dream, it was kind of like a new game that came out. the game system was different. the walk around was 3d, but the battle system was kind of out of Tales Of Symphonia. u bump into the monster and then u fight. the slight difference was the the battle was 2d. also, like kingdom hearts: COM, if u hit enemies before u get into the fight, the mosnters will be damages. but, in my dream, if u hit them too hard, u might kill them without ever entering battle mode.
the castle was enveloped in green, poison mist, and somehow, the only one who was affected by it was Mina. so she satyed outside with Arikado, while Yoko and Julius came in with Soma. that was a Kingdom Hearts walking style on the overworld, so Yoko and Julius dont show up except in cutscenes, fights, and 'savepoints' areas, and safe areas (where no monsters appear).
i had gotten the game and played it the first time thru without exploring anything. so in my second run, i played it thru again and explored every crook and cranny. so i discovered a place that i needed a special blue soul that i didnt have. so i went around looking for it. i found a safe area that i've never been in before. i started to look around, and i found a small doll sitting on a large chest. i (or Soma does) go up to it, and it starts teling me about itself.
its a silent doll (doesnt talk), but it had a silde show-thingy behind it that had its story on there. (fore some reason, i didnt notice it before). the doll's name is Simon, which is ironic because the very first hero of Castlevania was called Simon Belmont. the doll used to belong to someone named Roxas (DONT ASK) who lived in the castle (yeah, its not Dracula's castle) long before the monsters showed up. Roxas was handicapped, and he was always so cautious and so scared. so he started carrying Simon because simon had a speccial ability that was something like the Xaolin Showdown Shen Gon Wu the Lotus Twister, which would allow u to stretch out ur arms like a pair of rubber bands (think of Elastigirl form the Incredibles). when Roxas left, he left Simon in the Castle. Simon wishes to leave the castle with Soma, soma tells him that he's not sure that Simon can leave or not, considering Julius and Arikado would say no, but he was welcome to tag along. so i get Simon as a blue soul, able to use his special ability.
i keep looking around that area, knowing that what im looking for is there. i goof around with my souls, talk to Julius and Yoko. my sis (outside the game) tells me that there isnt anything there, but i dont give up. then i remeber that between Simon's slides, i saw a map there (there isnt a map with the select button), so i decide to go look at it. i keep flipping hte slides, and i do it too fast, so i go aroiund like, 3 times before i land of the map. when i do that, a cutscene happens and the hidden archway (its hidden beacuse i didnt notice it before) opens. Soma crawls through, and ends up in a new area.
i scream out, "i found it! look! a new area!" and my sis bumps her head into mine and starts watching over my head.
okay, no i need u to think about Dawn of Sorrow. remember the Condemed Tower area after the boss fight? where u walk into the middle part and u end up falling all the way down? yeah it was like that, but the bg wasnt all bright colors. it was dark, the poison mist was stronger than ever, its color cso clear in the bg.
the minute Soma enters, monsters try to jump him. so i jump off the edge and go down, knowing that i should use high jump to get upwards (for some reason, i already had high jump). instead of doing htat tho, i kept pressing the wring botton, which resulted in the B-up action. my red soul was a Minator soul level 6. so id transform to 2 different minstor forms and destroy the monsters. i didnt get it right until i had landed on the floor (i remeber distinctively removing the red soul so that id do it right) and gotten into a fight, and then..........

i woke up. it was 8:28 am. i normally wake up 7:45 am. so i had slept in for the second morniung in a row. i got up and groaned, "not agian!!!" and ran to the restroom to get changed, for i had to leave the house at 9.
