Have you ever watched someone do something, then attempted it yourself, only to find that it isn't as easy as it looks? I know I have. My friends are amazing artists, and I can't even trace for beans. Of course, I can write in Japanese and whenever they try to copy it it looks like crap, so it goes both ways.
There are countless areas in which people do this. My area is academics; slacking of to me means getting a couple of B's. But I also see other people to whom working hard comes easily. I get bored too easily to put in the effort that others do.
I think that what really looks easy is something that the person has been doing forever (like driving ) or something they truly care about; usually it is a mix.
Do people do these things because it comes easily to them, or are these things easy because they care about it?
