The answer was crew practice.
Today was my hell. I have humongo blisters all around the back of my foot from doing a mini biatholon (5km on the ERG and 2.5 mile run) in tennisshoes with out any socks.
Just my luck, Coach Kelly decides the water is too choppy to row on so we go back to the dock and start the dreaded land exercises.
The ERG machine of doom was todays pick since the football players were in the weightroom.
We did this stroke drill on the ERG that focuses on pressure and OMG...Some mo fo stole my socks so I had to go without them.
I thought my heels were going to fall off. Instead, my 1 inch blister beings to bleed all in my shoe.
So I thought to myself "******** this hurts...But I can make it! I'll make it."
But then the sweat drips down my leg and off my face on to the open wound so it stung like hell with the shoe rubbing and the stingy sweat- ARG!
But I ERGed on. Then began to cry because between the pain of the bleeding blister and my aching shoulder (- Yes, I still have tendonitis there -) I just couldn't take any more discomfort.
