I know a cookie when I see one.
"Ok...two questions. One, why did the sky become cloudy all of a sudden, and two, where the hell is Wolven?"
Tina glanced up from her magazine, "Didn't he come in with Koopling and Fluffy?"
"No."
"I'm sure he's ok."
"Somethin happened, cause Wolven never leaves that plushie out. He always hides it before leavin."
"...Maybe he ran away?"
"This is Wolven we're talkin abouat. Not Zapook." Koopa looked around, and sighed as she picked up a CD from the lounge room table.
"This is Zapook's isn't it?" She examined the disk and stared hard at the label on it. "...'Transformation studies'? What's that suppose to mean?" Koopa said as she continued to study the disk.
"It's some project she's working on. Although she dissappeared again as the weather changed."
"How do you know?"
"The minute she looked out the window, she said she'd be gone for awhile."
Koopa looked up at Tina, then back at the disk. "Oh, in that case, I'm gonna take a look at this thing." Waving the CD, she left the room and headed toward the nearest computer which was in Tina's room.
A few minutes later, Zapook ran in carring a lap top, searching through the lounge room desk. Tina set her magazine down and raise a paw, "Um...May I help you, dear?"
Zapook answered frantically, "I left a disk here. Where is it?"
"Oh, Sis has it. She found it on-"
"AND YOU LET HER TAKE IT!?"
"Well...she's in my room...if you want it...."
Zapook ran toward Tina's room. Tina followed curiously behind her. That's when Zapook looked back at her and said, "Sorry. Didn't mean to go off like that."
"Is there something wrong?"
"I got some important data on that CD. And Koopa couldn't tell a CD from a chocolate chip cookie."
From Tina's room, Koopa growled. "I heard that, you goit! I'm not computer illiterate you know!"
Zapook and Tina slowed down as they reached Tina's room and found Koopa clicking away at the mouse on Tina's computer. "And for your information, I can too tell." Holding up the disk, she growled, "This thing doens't even have chocolate on it."
"What were you doing with that?"
"Wanted to know what was on it. Interestin stuff."
"How much did you read?"
"Enough to know why I'm a mutt and Seph's a cat. And how to change back."
"Though you'll have to wait for-"
"The next full moon, got it."
Tina looked back and forth and scratched her head, "I am....confused..."
After handing the CD back to Zapook, Koopa turned to Tina. "It's simple. When me and Seph fought one night, he was in his manic wolf form, and the blood gem took over me again. The gem somehow...well it....kinda switched our..well...species. Or somethin."
Zapook nodded. "That's one way to put it. They only way to switch back is to wait for another full moon for Koopa to turn, and get this gem to Sephrain."
Tina sat and thought about it for awhile before speaking. "Oh...I see. My...this is a little confusing though. What else was on that CD?"
Koopa spoke up, glaring over at Zapook at the same time. "Evidently a tracking device. What ever's causin this wierd storm is on it's way here."
"Oh my. What are we to do?"
Zapook lowered her head. "Pray..."
"What did you say?" Koopa snarled.
"I can't do it you guys...I can't..."
