I'm going to be flying for the very first time this saturday. I'm flying to Chicago, IL. With my girlfriend, I'm meeting some friends from back in Illinois. Then we're driving four hours south to my home town. Where I'll be able to see my parents. Whom I haven't seen in over a year. I'm getting like 9 days off for it from work. So it's really something to look forward too.
I'm packing right now as I type this. Just small things, to wear, and my cosplay for the anime con in chicago I'll be going to before we head back home to Tennessee. But I'll be sure to keep an active log here if I'm able too. I'll post any pictures and news as I go along. That is, if internet access is easy to get to. Otherwise I'll make one massive entry here when we get back the 22nd. Well, make that 23rd. I need my rest and all that you know.
Anyways, back to flying. I've never done it before. So that will be an experience to remember. I'm not afraid or worried. Nothing like that, more like excited. Even though it will most undoubtfully be no big deal at all. But I'll be sure to post it here if I freak out and cause the plane to land.
