The Chaos Theory
A great man once said
"The subtle flap
of a butterfly's fragile wings
can cause a tsunami
on the other side of the world."
I had not thought it was true
left behind from my mind
hiding in imagination.
Yet,
here I stand
in a world
no longer my own.
caused by my own doing,
the fact that the world is not round,
the fact,
that I am no longer me
haunts my conciousness.
as that world long gone
begins to fade,
so too will my memories.
my mother and father,
my 2nd grade teacher,
even my wife,
caught in glimpses of my past,
are gone.
lost in the ripples of time,
trapped in the waves of a world
that is no longer my own.
