I saw it again today. I was a ton more critical this time around, now that I knew what was going to happen. sweatdrop I have many thoughts on it.

First off, I was PO'd that Eragon figured out that Brom was a Rider. He's supposed to find out because Brom tells him before he dies. And Arya was supposed to be in a coma of regeneration. Because she's an elf as they so tactfully forgot to mention in the movie. stare Murtagh was supposed to have stuck with them when they escaped from Durza's hide-out and he, Eragon, and unconcious Arya were supposed to have spent days crossing the Hadarac Desert, which mysteriously didn't exist in the whole movie. Before Eragon and Brom even reach Durza's lair, they were supposed to go to some city where they met a friend of Brom's from his days in the Varden (which never happened in the movie) plus they were also supposed to find Angela there. Oh yes, and Saphira wasn't supposed to go through a growth spurt after flying, she was supposed to gradually grow into a mid-sized dragon before Gallbatorix catches wind of him and sends the Ra'zac after him. Which brings me to another point, the Ra'zac were supposed to burn down Eragon's farm and seriously hurt Garrow with some magic anti-holy water and Garrow dies slowly from that. Eragon was supposed to be with him when he died at their friend's house, where Garrow was being taken care of. The anti-holy water stuff was how Eragon and Brom tracked the Ra'zac in hope of avenging Garrow.

Seriously folks, I could go on. heart

On the flip side, Eragon was (dare I say it) sooooooooooo cute. Always a plus. whee And Brom was simply hilarious. Love Brom. But Arya wasn't British... crying That would have made it perfect cast-wise.
