Something a little devious ninja

A while back Monica already called that David and I were going to get married. Just don't like people deciding my life for me like that. I did want to prove her wrong or atleast get her to think she was wrong by breaking up with him. But no, I know better, that this would not be a good reason to and I could not stand the thought of making David so sad and I couldn't stand the thought of being apart from him... I've found true happiness when I'm with him.

So... I did the next best thing played a prank he he twisted

One day David and I went to Monica's apartment I already told David what I was about to do so that he won't worry about it.

So she greeted us then we stepped in.
I said to Monica with serious, straight face,
"Monica I have some news for yah"
"oh?" she says
"Dand and I mutually agreed not to be boyfriend and girlfriend anymore"
eek "why? porque?"
[and during all of this time David had to face away to keep from laughing domokun while Monica thought I did something terrible to the guy]

"because" I said, "we're engaged" and removed my glove from my hand revealing the engagement ring.
