Eternity
I am sinking in the unforgiving darkness slowly, ever so slowly. I want to stop to get off this endless ride to finally be free, but I can't. So I will wait I will wait 'till the end of time 'til my wishes are granted, I waited until you found me. Just floating along until you spotted this young fool waiting in that dark. When you grabbed my hand, when you gave me light, my wish was granted you offered me life. But, in return, you paid a price you started to sit and wait as I once did this was your sacrifice, we had switched places leaving you in the dark. Now I float along constantly looking for you to undo what was done and lose my life again to wait for eternity.
This actually was made some time ago and it still sounds pretty good. I personally think that rhyming schemes should only be used for silly or ironic poems.
