The World In Between
I am sleepy standing at the door between two worlds One holds my goals fragile and fleeting the other holds my values A field of endless ignorant bliss which do I choose? What is real, and which is a figment of my eternal imagination? Lost in the darkness I cannot find my way. I choose to stay in between Rooting for neither side Until I can see which is right.
I wasn't thinking of kingdom Hearts when I wrote this, but it fits so well. In fact, I made this poem after I got majorly criticed on my work and that really made me think... He said that things should be more reasonable, more realistic, but I felt that imagination had no bounds and that true beauty is expressed in the way how you tell a story/poem. So I was torn between my style and his until I noticed that I don't need to change my style. I actually threw away every poem I made that I used his advice on and I felt even better about my work.
