When Xink had pulled Shalimar and Wynn through the portal, I had to pause a moment since neither hatchling looked the same. Quickly overcoming my shock I rushed forward to hug the hatchlings--only to find myself suddenly staring up at Wynn from the floor.

"Did anyone even see her move?" Nogard asked.

Glaring down at me, Wynn asked, "Who the ******** are you?"

"That's mom," Shalimar replied quietly.

Wynn's eyes suddenly grew comically wide. Yanking me to my feet by the front of my shirt, Wynn said, "********! Sorry Dragon! It's been years since I saw you last!"

Backing away from Shalimar and Wynn a little, I said, "Um..."

"The shock is too much for her," Shalimar said, looking at me. "Last time she saw us we were Childe Dragons but now we're Wyrms teetering on the edge of becoming Elder Wyrms."

"That pretty much sums it up," I said.

"Seriously!" Nogard exclaimed. "Did anyone see her move?"

"Oh s**t yeah! We can turn into dragons can't we?!" Wynn said. In a matter of seconds she transformed into her new anthro form then into her new dragon form and back into her human form. "God damn that feels so good! Shal! Give'r a whirl!"

Looking at Wynn for a couple of seconds, Shalimar also transformed into her new anthro form and her new dragon form before she transformed back into her human form.

Sliding out from behind Shalimar and Wynn, Xink hurried over and hid behind Xangord. Peering out from behind her legs, Xink said, "Mom, my cousins are scary."

"I agree Xink," Xangord said.

"Xink," Nogard asked, looking at him. "Did you anyone see her move?"

"No," Xink replied.

"Cousins?" Wynn asked, trying to peer around Xangord's legs to see Xink. "Shal 'n' me are someone's cousins? Xangord, who knocked you up?"

"Wynn!" I said as the initial shock finally wore off. "Watch your tounge!"

"Up yours," Wynn said.

"Excuse me?" I asked, lifting an eyebrow.

Looking at me as though she suddenly realized I was there, Wynn said, "Oh, Draco's tail! Sorry, sorry! Couple hundred million years without you or dad forced me to make some changes."

"You haven't said much," Nissa said, looking at Shalimar. "Have you changed?"

"We both have changed," Shalimar replied.

"Did anyone see her move?!" Nogard asked.

"Nogard," Nissa said. "Because you're the slowest of the lot, shut up."
