I went to look at a town-house for rent today with mah friend David. The location was pretty alright, for both work and Uni, but to be honest the house wasn't that great, and at $310 a week, it was honestly a bit of a rip-off.
There was no lounge room, dinning room, kitchen or laundry, it was all "ergonomically" crammed into the same room. I suppose some people don't need much, but for $310 a week, na-ah.
That was down-stairs, and up-stairs were two bedrooms and a bathroom. The rooms were pretty small, and they both had wardrobes. One wardrobe was pretty roomy, but the other was TINY! And I don't even know why it was tiny.
Oh wait, yes I do, the stair-well was right bellow it. Fair enough. But I really mean TINY!
It had it's own garage, in which the clothes-line also hung. Seems kind of strange, but then there is no 'garden' to speak of really. Apparently it works, because David's girlfriend has something similar, and I guess it comes in handy for when it rains. Seems trange that clothes would dry in complete dark though. *shrug*
Otherwise, not too bad. I guess I'm being a little picky for what I want.
We'll see how we go and keep looking. =D
