Star of the Night As I look through the doorway of the dark night I see in the distance a small burning light It seems so far away that I will never reach Then I begin to understand as he starts to teach At that moment you and I are alone in the world The story would still be the same as it unfurled For you still would have died on that old tree To save the life of the sins that are inside of me When the morning does break and begins to chatter Nothing will change and the sounds won't matter For you and I have communed together forever as one The flickering star of the night the only begotten son By: ~Dreams of Eternity~
