I know some of you are sitting there like "Oh em gee, are you going to trust him?!" and are foaming at the mouth. Yes, I'm going to! Not completely, but for now yes. Obviously he was just misunderstood. He had been hacked himself so he felt that other people should feel the way he did. But he didn't delete my account. So that at least says something now doesn't it?
That's a rhetorical question, for those who felt the need to answer. stare
I know he had no right to hack into my account in the first place, but that as my own stupidity and - yes! - there were consequences! I took action to fix my mistake by private messaging the administrators and filling out a hacking report! But at least I was trying something when I talked to the hacker himself, if only by chance that I managed to talk to him!
To make this clear to people - for the first few days I was mad, after that I really didn't have any opinion about what happened and just wanted my account back. So no, I'm not mad at the hacker. I would be, if he had deleted my account, but I'm not.
So, yes! I'm trusting him. I'm giving him a chance, because I give people chances. There is enough evidence that he gave me for me to believe that Lanzer is currently checking my account. Mostly because of the blue lettering that Jester's name is now in. There is no way the hacker could do this, because as far as I know and believe, only administrators can change the font color of user names. That's why they have the color-coded-system.
Oh, and its not "hacking" when you just private message people with false accusations. No. Hacking is where you find information in the server and exploit it - by going into the system itself. Hackers gain unauthorized access to hard drive. Hackers don't even need passwords because once they're in the system they can just access accounts whenever they want - and probably delete them fully. I only call my hacker a "hacker" because I don't know a better word for it. And yes, he gained unauthorized access, but only because I gave it to him.
And! He said that he was going to stop "hacking". Based on the conversation we had I trust him. If he doesn't stay true to his word *shrugs* then whatever, I'm not going to be mad at myself for trusting him and I wont regret that I did either. The only thing I will be is disappointed in the hacker.
So everyone needs to shut up about it because, frankly, I don't care what you say, its my decision. And if this entry didn't throw some consideration at you and make you understand then that's your problem now isn't it? Not mine.
I've made my decision, and it'll stay that way.
However, I will still take precautions by checking Jester, and by checking to see when Reporter #3 logs on.
