I sit alone, just me and my blade
It's cold and dark outside
My cheeks are black from my tears and makeup
The blood running down my wrists I try to hide
I shiver as the blood runs cold
The tears start to dry
I reach again for my blade
But my heart screams out "Why?!"
I love the pain along my wrist
The blood running down my arm
As I realize I should stop for the night
I cry as I can't believe I fell for his charm
He made me think he truly loved me
I thought it was for real
I thought this one would be different
Wanting more then just sex appeal
I feel so used
So out of place
It feels like my life
Was shoved back into my face
As the blood runs dry
Against my tear stained wrist
I slowly fade
Without a "Thing to do before I die" list
